MMASFY011 – Up to Speed
Posted by admin in lighting, scriptwriting on November 6, 2008
What if you were given a really fast car … AND the tutorial-to-beat-all-tutorials for how to drive it through the finish line… would you drive it? It’s what separates the men from the boys (and most girls). It’s chutzpa. It’s willpower. It’s decision. It’s … faith. Persevering faith is like a driver in a fast car… oh, did I already work that analogy? Anyhoo… I’m inspired tonight. I’m posting a first cut of a piece I’m doing for a really inspiring crew called CRI.
MMASFY002 – The Sima SL-10L LED Light
This little baby is really cheap and really bright and fits on a standard hot shoe – it’s the Sima SL-10L and it cost me only 30 bucks (buy.com has it for $21). That’s 1,275 bucks cheaper than Litepanel’s Mini single light setup, but there’s no dimmer switch and I might have to get creative with some tape and gel material…. but, ah… tha’s ok.
